Excellently simple photo resizer and converter

PIXresizer is a refreshingly simple photo optimization tool.

In fact, PIXresizer is the perfect app if you want to make very simple changes to your photos before posting, viewing or sending them online. For example, you can use the app to change the photo size (to presets or custom), alter the file format (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF) and optimize for emailing and posting.

PIXresizer isn't very flashy, and apart from these functions - and a few other options you can enable, such as saving EXIF data - there's not much more you can use it for. That said, it's free and does its job very well, so if you often need to change the dimensions of your photos, it's a very handy tool to have lying around.

PIXresizer allows you to work with single files or in batches of folders. The two options are under separate tabs, and you'll be able to see a preview if you use the multiple files option.

Quick, simple and does exactly what it says on the tin, PIXresizer is an excellent tool.

I've been using PIXresizer for years and it is super easy to use and work perfectly for me. I love that you can do batch resizing as well, which makes it really easy to resize multiple pictures at once. Great program, highly recommended.

I have been using PixResizer for over 15 years. It was recommended to me by one of the companies that I was Mystery Shopping for. While it was immensely helpful for completing shop reports that required photo uploads, I have continued to use the product for resizing images so that they upload faster and don't bog down emails and texts. It is a great product and I have never experienced any issues with it (unlike everything else in the software realm)! Kudos to the developer of this little gem. If you download the product and find it useful, be sure and check out David's other offerings at Bluefive Software.

PIXresizer is easy to use & provides high quality small file size pictures.. Very easy to use for single pictures or groups of pictures. Can significantly reduce the file size of pictures. The reduced file size pictures still maintain very good resolution such that the pictures still look great in publications. Pros: Ease of use

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
